COVID-19 Policies and Procedures

Satsang Awakening Acupuncture & Holistic Health Practice is committed to providing clients with as much peace of mind as possible as we brave COVID-19 together. To ensure the safety of her clients, Dr. Rian Charé Bush implements the following protocols:

  • High touch surfaces are disinfected in between every client using a non-toxic broad-spectrum liquid disinfectant.

  • Clients are seated more than six feet in distance from the practitioner while conducting patient intake and follow-up.

  • The practitioner wears a “N95” mask as well as two additional masks at all times while providing care to clients.

  • All clients are required to wear a mask while on site. Should clients arrive without a mask, one will be provided.

  • All clients are required to wash his/her/their hands upon arrival before entering treatment area.

  • The practitioner washes hands at client arrival, before any hands-on work, and after the completion of treatment. The practitioner disinfects with hand sanitizer after taking notes and performing diagnostics in between the aforementioned hand washing intervals.

  • Treatment table, acupuncture supplies and assorted tools are all disinfected using a non-toxic broad-spectrum liquid disinfectant that has no harsh chemicals and is safe for use on all hard surfaces and is proven to protect against COVID-19 (or SARS CoV-2) as well as a host of fungi, bacteria and viruses.

  • All clients are seen individually. There is no congregating nor can multiple people wait in the reception area.

  • Hand sanitizer is conveniently placed throughout the space for quick and easy sanitization.

  • Forehead temperature is taken upon arrival. If a client’s temperature is 100 degrees or more at the time of intake, treatment will be rescheduled and the client will be advised to seek COVID-19 testing to determine diagnosis. If found positive, the client must quarantine for at least 14 days before recommencing treatment at Satsang Awakening Acupuncture & Holistic Health Practice.
